Grant has over 25 years’ experience as a corporate, commercial and finance lawyer, in private practice and in senior in-house and investment roles.
Admitted as an attorney in 2000 and also a Solicitor of England and Wales, he practised at major law firms in Johannesburg and New York, advising on public and private M&A, empowerment transactions and listed company reorganisations, and later held senior property development roles in Johannesburg and London.
He brings the firm senior banking and private equity expertise: three years at a corporate and investment bank on LMA loan and security documentation, and over nine years as a partner and investment committee member of a private equity firm, covering fund formation, FSCA compliance and anti-money laundering.
